Welcome to the North Herts Climate Hive.
A place for you to get involved in climate action and sustainability!
North Herts Climate Hive
Here in North Herts we take climate change really seriously. We are working hard to reduce carbon emissions in the district and put the environment at the heart of everything we do, while also preparing our services to be resilient to the unavoidable impacts of climate change.
We know there are residents and local groups who feel passionately about these issues, and we want to hear from you. How can we work together to reduce the district’s carbon and increase our sustainability? Please get involved and tell us what you think.

The aims of the Sustainability Strategy are:

- achieve a Net Zero North Herts district by 2040

- become a district that is resilient to unavoidable impacts of climate change
- increase biodiversity in North Herts
